Zied Tebaibi

Zied Tebaibi has a diverse work experience in the mining industry, starting as a Trainee at Breakwater Tunisia in 2004. Zied then worked as a Junior Geologist at Breakwater Resources from 2006 to 2009. Zied continued to advance in their career, serving as a Senior Staff Geologist at Tunisian Mining Services from 2009 to 2011. Zied also worked as a Trainee at OFFICE NATIONAL DES MINES in 2010. Zied'scareer progression led him to Nyrstar, where they held various roles such as Senior Staff Geologist, Director of the Geology Department, Director of the Transformation Department, Underground Mine Manager, Asset Director, and Chief Geologist from 2011 to the present time. Zied'sresponsibilities included overseeing the KPI, improving production initiatives, long-term planning of exploration programs, resource-reserves, and monthly reporting. Zied's experience also includes working as a Field Geologist at SOCODAF from 2005 to 2006.

Zied TEBAIBI began their education journey by obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Earth Science from the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis at the University of Manar in 2005. Zied then pursued a Master's Degree in the same field from Facultés des sciences de Tunis at the University of Tunis from 2006 to 2008. Subsequently, they completed their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Geology/Earth Science from the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis at the University of Manar in 2009. As part of their continuous education, Zied obtained various certifications in leadership, health and safety, geological modeling, resource evaluation, and more from institutions such as The Refinery Leadership Partners Inc., Order of the Geologists of Quebec, and Gemcom Software International Inc.
