Mary Susan Knauss

Mary Susan (Suzie) Knauss is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and transportation analysis. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at Mapping Momentum, LLC and President of the NYS GIS Association since September 2019, Knauss has a strong background in asset management and emergency operations support gained during a 13-year tenure as a Senior Transportation Analyst at NYSDOT. Knauss's earlier roles include Senior Manager of Project Management at Radianz Inc and a Director position at Global Crossing Telecommunications, among others. Knauss holds a Master's degree in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Graduate Certificate in GIS. Additionally, Knauss earned a BA in Physics from Bard College.
