Haleema M. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Since 2023, they have been working as a Strategic Planning Analyst at the New York State Technology Enterprise Corporation (NYSTEC). Prior to this, they worked at the U.S. Department of State from 2020 to 2023, where they held the position of Strategic Public Engagement Specialist & Public Affairs Assistant.

Before joining the government sector, Haleema worked at the Lahore University of Management Sciences from 2018 to 2020. Haleema served as an Assistant Manager in the Office of the Vice Chancellor and later as a Senior Program Coordinator in the Economics department. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a School Counselor at TNS beaconhouse.

Haleema also has experience in communications and digital media. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at the International Franchise Association, initially as a Coordinator in Communications & Digital Media and later as a Conferences Coordinator. In 2013, they served as a Summer Program Coordinator at Envision EMI.

Earlier in their career, Haleema worked as an Administrative Secretary at The College of Saint Rose in 2012 and as an Administrative Assistant on a temporary basis at Hudson Valley Community College from 2011 to 2012.
