Becky Hughes

Becky Hughes is an experienced food editor and content creator currently serving as a Senior Staff Editor for NYT Cooking at The New York Times since January 2019, after previously holding the position of Staff Editor in the same department. Prior experience includes roles at Epicurious as an Associate Social Media Manager and Editorial Assistant, as well as an internship with VICE Media's MUNCHIES. Becky has also contributed as Editor in Chief for the Spoon University - NYU Chapter and gained graphic design experience as an intern at Eater. Other positions include freelance cookbook assistance and recipe testing for Workman Publishing, editorial internships at Tasting Table and The Hartford Courant, and a food-focused role with Friends of the High Line. Education includes a degree from New York University and training at the International Culinary Center.
