Karen Brown is the VP of Print Strategy and Finance at The New York Times. Karen has over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, financial management, and consumer marketing.

Brown started their career at Time Inc. in 1997 and held various positions over the next 10 years. In 2000, they became the Director of Circulation Finance for Money Magazine. In this role, they were responsible for the magazine's financial performance and net paid circulation. Karen ensured that the magazine met all circulation guarantees to advertisers and oversaw the budget, forecasting, and planning processes.

In 2006, Brown left Time Inc. to join The New York Times. Karen has held several positions at the company, including VP of Consumer Marketing and VP of Financial Planning and Analysis. In their current role as VP of Print Strategy and Finance, they are responsible for the financial performance of the company's print products.

Karen Brown has a MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Economics from Harvard University. Karen also has a certification from Cornell University in Certificate in Nutrition and Healthy Living.
