Vivian Giang

Vivian Giang is a Senior Staff Editor at the New York Times, overseeing the Square Feet column focused on commercial real estate since April 2019. Additionally, Vivian serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU Stern School of Business, teaching courses on Business & Society and Commerce & Culture since December 2019. As a freelance editor and writer, Vivian contributes to various publications, including Fortune and Fast Company, specializing in gender discussions, leadership, and organizational psychology. Previously, Vivian held the role of Editor in Chief for Bersin Perspectives at Deloitte, developing a human capital e-magazine, and taught journalism and media courses at The State University of New York. Prior experience includes reporting and editing at Business Insider, where Vivian launched the Careers vertical. Vivian holds a Master of Arts in Business and Economic Reporting from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and English from The University of Georgia.
