Amit Bansal

Amit Bansal, DO, has extensive experience in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Currently serving as the Clinical Director of Inpatient Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Health since July 2006, Amit also holds the position of Clinical Director of Inpatient Orthopedic Rehabilitation and attends as a physician. Additionally, since June 2012, Amit has been the Assistant Medical Director at Gouverneur Health, focusing on expanding physical medicine and rehabilitation services in skilled nursing facilities. Education includes a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the New York Institute of Technology. Early training includes a rotating internship at NorthShore University HealthSystem and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
