Dominique Leitner, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Scientist at NYU Langone Health, focusing on the mechanisms of disease in Alzheimer’s disease, neurodegenerative disorders, epilepsy, COVID-19, and sudden unexplained death in childhood (SUDC). Prior experience includes positions as a Research Scientist at NYU Langone Health, where investigations related to seizures and their implications for SUDEP and SUDC were conducted, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Mount Sinai Hospital, specializing in regenerative therapies for Parkinson’s disease.
