Diane Hodson

Diane Hodson currently serves as an Assistant Professor and Podcasting and Audio Storytelling Area Coordinator at Hofstra University since September 2024. Diane also holds an ongoing position as an Adjunct Instructor and Production Advisor at New York University since August 2016. In addition, Diane is a Founding Partner at Unmappable Productions, LLC, since May 2016, and previously worked as Program Director at Old School Films between June 2016 and July 2021. Diane taught as an Adjunct Instructor at Westchester Community College from September 2017 to December 2020 and served as an Adjunct Instructor and Lab Course Consultant at Jacob Burns Film Center from September 2015 to July 2019. Earlier roles include Teaching Assistant and Graduate Hall Director at Wake Forest University from August 2012 to May 2015, and High School History Teacher for the NYC Department of Education from August 2004 to August 2012. Diane holds an MFA in Documentary Film from Wake Forest University, a BA in Individualized Study from NYU Gallatin, and an MA in Teaching Adolescents with Disabilities from Long Island University.
