Eva Labson is a seasoned professional in the field of art and textile studies, currently serving as the General Manager and Head of the Antonio Ratti Textile Study and Storage Center at The Metropolitan Museum of Art since September 2006. Labson has held various positions at the Antonio Ratti Textile Center, progressing from Collections Assistant to Senior Collections Manager, and has also contributed as a Curatorial Intern at institutions such as the Wolfsonian-FIU and the Supreme Court of the U.S. In addition to current roles as Adjunct Faculty in Costume Studies at New York University and Fashion and Textile Studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Labson is pursuing a certificate from Columbia Business School. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Decorative Arts and Design History from Bard Graduate Center and a Bachelor's degree in Art History from Beloit College, alongside ABD status towards a Ph.D. in Art History with a focus on Textile Arts from the University of Bern.
