Awhimai Reynolds

Awhimai Reynolds is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and management across various sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency since January 2023, Awhimai also founded iWahine NZ in February 2015 to empower wāhine Māori in leadership through coaching and development rooted in kaupapa Māori principles. Previous roles include Director of Māori Engagement at Experience Wellington, COVID-19 Response Manager at Kokiri Marae Keriana Olsen Trust, and Kaiwhakahaere at Whānau Whanake Whānau Ora Collective, where strategic leadership and partnership management were emphasized.
