Sébastien Pierre

Sébastien Pierre has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sébastien is currently working as the Head of Digital at NZX Limited, where they lead the digital transformation and data delivery strategy. Previously, they worked as a Data Architect at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. Prior to that, Sébastien founded and served as the Director of FFunction, a technology consulting firm. Sébastien has also held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Akoha, a Software Engineer at XPrima.com, and a Consultant at Ivy R&D, where they conducted research and development for telecom startups. Sébastien started their career as a Junior Software engineer at Adival and gained internship experience as a Software Engineer at Alcatel, Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics, and Rational Software.

Sébastien Pierre began their education in 1998, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from IUT Strasbourg Sud in 2000. Sébastien then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Software Engineering from UTBM between 2000 and 2003. In 2002, Sébastien also attended Université de Franche-Comté, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science, completing their studies in 2003. Finally, they enrolled at the University of Strasbourg in 2004 and completed their Bachelor's degree in Design in 2005.
