Christopher McIver is an experienced outdoor guide with a diverse background in adventure activities. Currently serving as a guide at OARS Companies, Inc. since April 2019, McIver focuses on ensuring guest safety and enjoyment. Additionally, McIver has been a guide at Good Times Adventures since December 2012, instructing on snowmobile safety and leading tours along 20 miles of trails. Prior experience includes leading Level III-IV whitewater trips and coordinating overnight excursions at Echo Canyon River Expeditions from May 2004 to December 2018. McIver also held the position of Level III Guide at the Outdoor Adventure Center, Auraria Campus, from September 2009 to May 2012, where various outdoor outings were designed and implemented. As a former Pro Ski Patrol member at Monarch Mountain from December 2007 to February 2009, McIver was involved in rescues and avalanche mitigation. Early career experience includes an internship at Deer Hill Expeditions and a sales associate role at Diver's Market, LLC. Educational background includes a BA in History from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a BS in Adventure Education from Plymouth State University.
