Linus Deike

Linus Deike's work experience includes being a Co-Founder & COO at O.C. Hairsystems GmbH since 2019. Linus also worked as a Teamkoordinator Digitalisierung & Predictive Analytics at DEUTSCHE EDELSTAHLWERKE SPECIALTY STEEL GMBH & CO. KG from January 2019 to October 2020.

Prior to that, Linus held the position of Engineer- Product and Process Development at Deutsche Edelstahlwerke GmbH from August 2015 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for product and process development, quality assurance, and data mining using statistical methods. Linus also conducted simulations with relevant software.

Earlier in their career, Linus worked as a Freelancer at ThyssenKrupp from October 2013 to July 2015, where they led site visits, conducted projects for new tours, and trained new colleagues. Linus also completed their Master's Thesis titled "Optimization of steel grades with Data Mining" at ThyssenKrupp from October 2014 to June 2015.

Linus gained experience as an Intern and Working Student at ThyssenKrupp from November 2012 to February 2013 and from March 2012 to August 2012, respectively.

Linus also completed internships at Deutsche Edelstahlwerke in September 2010, March 2010, and June 2009, respectively.

Linus Deike completed their education in a chronological order. In 2009-2012, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Metallurgy and Metal Forming at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Following this, from 2011 to 2015, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Administration from the same university. Subsequently, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Metallurgy and Metal Forming at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Finally, from 2015 to 2020, they accomplished their highest level of education by completing a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Ingenieurwissenschaften at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
