Jonathan Olson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Jonathan began their career at TheraDoc, Inc. in 2000, where they served as CTO and played a pivotal role in establishing the vision, architecture, and technology behind the Expert System Platform (ESP). During their tenure, they collaborated with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to implement HL7 standards, positioning TheraDoc as a pioneer in this field.
In 2009, Jonathan joined Hospira, initially as Director of Technology and Services, and later as Director of Engineering. Jonathan implemented Agile Scrum methodology to address customer needs more quickly and restructured the engineering organization to balance customer demands and new functionality development. Jonathan also led the integration of TheraDoc with Hospira.
Jonathan then joined ActiveCare as CTO in 2013, where they established the IT department's vision and streamlined operations by implementing Salesforce services cloud CRM. Jonathan acted as a bridge-builder to unite multiple factions across the business.
In 2014, Jonathan joined VisualShare Inc. as CTO and focused on defining new product offerings and improving collaboration and communication among pathology and clinical sub-specialties. Jonathan deployed agile methodologies to enhance development productivity.
From 2015 to 2017, Jonathan worked at Teqqa, LLC as a Teqqnologist. Jonathan played a crucial role in establishing a business relationship between Teqqa, HSS, and ILÚM Health Solutions, contributing to profitability. Jonathan also led the team in designing and implementing mobile and web-based antimicrobial stewardship products.
Jonathan joined ILÚM Health Solutions in 2017 and served as CTO. Jonathan successfully delivered a CDC contract, internationalized and enhanced products, and implemented a novel SaaS-based surveillance system for multi-drug resistant organisms in New York hospitals.
In 2020, Jonathan moved to Infectious Disease Connect as CTO and played a key role in the transition of ILÚM Health Solutions' technical team and technology assets. Jonathan served as the Product Owner for the Acute Care product, establishing the product vision and roadmap.
Most recently, Jonathan joined O.C. Tanner as the VP of Global IT Operations in 2021.
Jonathan Olson attended the University of Utah from 1991 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. Jonathan then pursued further education at the University of Utah School of Medicine from 1998 to 2011, specializing in Medical Informatics.
