Abhishek Jain

Abhishek Jain has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy and consulting industries. Abhishek is currently the Head of Investment Cell at O2 Power, where they lead a team in analyzing investment opportunities in renewable energy, including areas such as utility and C&I scale projects, energy storage, and green hydrogen.

Prior to their current role, Abhishek worked as an AGM at ReNew Power from 2016 to 2020. At ReNew Power, they gained experience in the renewable energy sector.

Abhishek also participated in Adani Group's Business Leadership Programme (ABLP) at Adani Ports and SEZ in 2016. Abhishek worked as a Marketing Manager in the dry cargo vertical and completed an 8-week internal consulting project that focused on improving the dispatch of liquid cargo.

Before joining Adani, Abhishek worked as a Consultant at KPMG Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd. from 2010 to 2015. During their time at KPMG, they advised infrastructure firms, regulators, and government ministries on market strategy, business planning, project financing, cost optimization, and regulatory economics. Abhishek also handled various projects related to power cost optimization, critical gap assessment, renewable energy, and subsidy allocation.

Abhishek's early career includes a role as a Project Manager at Ambicales, a start-up in the renewable energy and energy efficiency domain. In this role, they managed engagement teams and delivered energy efficiency projects.

From 2015 to 2016, they attended the Indian School of Business and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Strategy and Finance.

In 2016, they participated in a Student Exchange Program at IESE Business School, where they continued their studies towards a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree, with the same concentration in Strategy and Finance.

From 2005 to 2009, Abhishek Jain studied at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree. Their field of study was Biotechnology.

In 2008, they completed an internship program at CNRS-UMR 5235, Université Montpellier 2, France, focusing on Molecular Biophysics.
