Brian Funai

Brian Funai has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Brian started their career as a Studio Artist at William Esty Company, Inc. in 1984, where they gained experience in mechanical and comp assembly. Brian then worked as an Assistant Art Director at the same company, before transitioning to freelance work in 1987. As a freelancer, they worked with various clients and gained experience as a Graphic Artist/Designer.

In 1988, Brian joined The Bravo Group as an Assistant Art Director, where they specialized in print, outdoor, special events, and in-store advertising. Brian worked on projects for clients such as R.J. Reynolds. After two years, they moved to Young & Rubicam as an Art Director, where they focused on print, direct market, outdoor, and in-store advertising. Brian'smain client at Young & Rubicam was R.J. Reynolds.

Brian continued their career as a Digital Prepress Artist/Retoucher at MRM Worldwide in 1994. Brian demonstrated expertise in digital prepress and retouching during their thirteen-year tenure with the company. In 2007, Brian joined CDMiConnect as a Digital Imaging Specialist, responsible for high-resolution retouching and digital prepress. Brian worked with clients such as Eisai, Genentech, Novartis, and Pfizer.

After leaving CDMiConnect in 2010, Brian worked as a Freelance Retoucher/Production Artist/Graphic Designer at o2kl from 2012 to 2014. Brian then transitioned into their role as a Production Artist/Retoucher at the same company in 2014, where they currently work.

In 2011, Brian briefly worked as an Imaging Artist at Link9 before joining o2kl. Overall, Brian Funai has a strong background in production, retouching, graphic design, and art direction, with extensive experience in the advertising industry.

Brian Funai earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Design from Pratt Institute, where they attended from 1980 to 1984.
