Matt Waterton

Matt Waterton has extensive work experience in the software engineering industry. Matt began their career as a Programmer at BAE Systems and later became a Technical Team Lead at OAG, where they provided application solutions for the airline industry. Matt also served as a Director of Software Engineering at OAG, responsible for managing multiple Agile software engineering teams. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and an Analyst/Programmer at OAG and M&G respectively. Matt'sroles have included developing internal maintenance systems, specializing in analytics, and developing new front ends using React/Redux.

Matt Waterton received a BSc (Hons) 2.1 degree in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire between 1987 and 1991. Matt also holds additional certifications including Inspiring Peak Performance on Technical Teams and Leadership Principles for Software Engineers from Advancing Women in Tech, CybSafe Certification in Security Awareness from CybSafe, Hands On Snowflake - WebUI Essentials from Snowflake, and Associate MuleSoft Developer--v3.5 from MuleSoft Inc.
