Caren W.

Caren W. is an experienced legal professional who has worked with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner since January 2012 in various roles including General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer, Principal Lawyer and Chief Privacy Officer, and Director of Legal Services. Prior to this, Caren held the position of Senior Project Officer at the NSW Workcover Authority from May 2011 to January 2012 and served as a Senior Government Lawyer in multiple capacities at the Department of Education, Employment, and Workplace Relations from February 2010 to May 2011 and previously from December 2007 to September 2008. Caren started with the Department of Education, Science and Training as a Government Lawyer from November 2005 to December 2007. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from The University of Queensland and a Master of Law & Legal Practice from the University of Technology Sydney.
