James Macdonald

James Macdonald is a seasoned legal professional with significant experience in various roles within prominent law firms. Currently serving as Special Counsel at Gadens since February 2021, James has also held the position of Senior Associate at Macpherson Kelley from February 2019 to February 2021. Prior to this, James contributed to the Suncorp Group's Royal Commission Response Team as a Lawyer and gained advocacy experience at the Johannesburg Society of Advocates. James began legal training at the Johannesburg Bar and honed skills as an Associate at both Norton Rose Fulbright and Eversheds. James holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Johannesburg and is an alumnus of St Stithians College, where education was completed from 1999 to 2003.
