Bharat Sharma

Bharat Sharma is a highly skilled civil engineer with extensive experience in research and system development. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory since May 2017, Bharat's previous roles include Research Intern and PhD Candidate at Northeastern University from September 2016 to September 2022, as well as Engineer (Working Student) for Obermeyer Planen + Beraten GmbH, where responsibilities included the planning of the new Rail link 'Košice-Vienna'. Previous internships and positions at Technical University of Munich, Delhi International Airport Ltd, and Syal & Associates reflect a solid foundation in transportation systems, civil engineering, and quality control. Bharat holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University, a Master of Science in Transportation Systems from Technical University of Munich, and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur.
