Jason Ellis

Jason Ellis possesses extensive experience in communications and marketing across various sectors, currently serving as the Science and Technology Communications Manager at Oak Ridge National Laboratory since 2016. In this role, Jason oversees communications for the Isotope Science and Engineering Directorate. Previous positions include Marketing Coordinator at Thompson Cancer Survival Center and Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, and Marketing & PR Specialist at UVA Health System, where Jason developed marketing strategies that contributed to significant financial gains and increased media presence. Early career experience includes serving as a Meteorologist/Digital Journalist at WJTV News Channel 12 and working as a freelance writer for The Lancaster News. Jason holds a Master of Science in Meteorology from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Carolina.
