Kathryn Hall, PhD, MPH, currently serves as the Senior Vice President for Research at The New York Academy of Medicine, a position held since June 2024. In addition, Kathryn holds an appointment as a part-time Assistant Professor Of Medicine at Harvard Medical School since October 2017 and has been a Molecular Biologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital since August 2015. Previous roles include Deputy Commissioner for Population Health and Health Equity and Deputy Director at the Boston Public Health Commission (October 2021 - May 2024), and Director of Basic and Translational Research at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine (September 2020 - January 2022). Kathryn's early career includes roles as a Research Fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and President at Stony Hill Pictures. Kathryn earned an MPH from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a Master's Degree in Visual Media Arts from Emerson College, a PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Harvard University, and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Miami.
