Stephen Streiffer is an accomplished leader in the field of scientific research and laboratory management, currently serving as the Director at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Previously, Stephen held the position of Vice President for SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory at Stanford University. At Argonne National Laboratory, Stephen's roles included Deputy Laboratory Director for Science & Technology and Interim Associate Laboratory Director for Photon Sciences. Additionally, Stephen directed the Advanced Photon Source and served as Interim Director at Argonne. Early in their career, Stephen was a Lead Developer at the Center for Nanoscale Materials and held academic positions as a Research Assistant Professor and Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate at North Carolina State University.
