Alex Kreig

Alex Kreig has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and technology. They have held various senior and managerial roles in different companies. Currently, Alex is serving as the Senior Vice President of Data Science at Oak Street Health since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the VP and Head of Data Science at Numerator from July 2019 to June 2021. Before joining Numerator, Alex was a Data Science Manager at Arity from July 2018 to July 2019. They have also worked at The Climate Corporation and Monsanto Company as a Senior Data Scientist, Technical Program Manager, and Application Technology Lead. Additionally, Alex has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. They co-founded AVriculture in 2014.

Alex Kreig holds a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which was obtained from 2007 to 2011. Alex then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in the same field of study from 2011 to 2013 at the same institution. Ultimately, they completed their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, earned between 2013 and 2016.
