Scott Shepherd

Scott Shepherd, DO, FACP has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Scott currently serves as a Medical Consultant at Verinovum, Inc. since April 2022 and previously held the position of Chief Medical Officer from June 2019 to May 2022. In addition, they are currently working as the Center Medical Director at Oak Street Health since April 2022. Previously, they worked as the Medical Director at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Systems Innovation from July 2015. Scott also has experience as a Health Fellow at On Deck from April 2021 and has held multiple roles at St. John Health System, including Medical Director Hospitalist Services, Hospitalist, Interim Director Hospitalist Services, and Associate Director of Hospitalist Medicine from 2012 to 2021.

Scott Shepherd, DO, FACP attended Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their DO degree in Medicine. Scott then pursued their residency at the University of Oklahoma- Tulsa from 2008 to 2012, specializing in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics. Prior to this, they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Athletic Training/Trainer from Oklahoma State University between 2000 and 2004. Additionally, Scott Shepherd holds a certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
