Steve Benni

Steve Benni has extensive work experience in leadership and architecture roles in various companies. Steve started their career as a Senior Consultant at Crowe, Chizek and Company in 2000 before moving on to work as an Integration Architect at Prosoft from 2003 to 2005. Steve then joined Solo Cup Company, where they held multiple managerial roles in IT Quality Assurance, SAP Basis, and Enterprise Computer Operations from 2005 to 2010.

In 2010, Steve joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. and served as the Architect Lead and Vice President for the Commercial Card, Consumer & Community Banking division until 2017. Steve then became the Head of User Research and Executive Director in the Chief Technology Office, responsible for the technology strategy and delivery, until 2023.

Currently, Steve is working at Oak Street Health as the Chief Architect and Vice President of Enterprise Architecture since April 2023. Starting from February 2024, they have also taken on the role of Head of Engineering and Vice President of Engineering in the same company.

Steve Benni received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they attended from 1996 to 2000.
