Simon Atherton

Simon Atherton has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Simon started their career as a Sales Associate at Staples, where they were responsible for maintaining inventory and designing layouts. Simon then moved on to work as a Sales Specialist at Hutchison 3G, where they handled sales of mobile phones and trained team members on new products. Simon then joined Enterprise Rent-A-Car as an Assistant Manager, overseeing fleet management and leading a team. Simon also worked at Floors 2 Go as a Sales Executive, focusing on customer relations and consistently meeting sales targets. Simon's experience in management continued at County Car and Van Hire Ltd, where they served as a Branch Manager, responsible for fleet management and driving sales growth. Simon later joined Home Bargains as a Trainee Manager, gaining further experience in operations. Currently, Simon is the Operations Manager at Oak Tyres UK Ltd, where they oversee all aspects of business operations and has successfully recruited and developed a diverse team.

Simon Atherton attended Winstanley College from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained their A-levels in Computing, Medieval History, PE, General Studies, and Critical Thinking. Simon then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Science at Liverpool John Moores University from 2004 to 2007. In 2014, they attended the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, where they obtained a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) for transport managers.
