Benjamin Prowse

Benjamin Prowse is a seasoned parks naturalist currently serving Oakland County, Michigan Government since January 2013, focusing on the administration and management of nature education programming at Red Oaks Nature Center. Prowse has extensive experience in environmental education, previously holding roles as a Nature Program Specialist, where new interpretive programs and outreach initiatives were developed. Prior professional positions include serving as a Staff Consultant at PM Environmental, Inc. specializing in Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, and as a Park Naturalist at Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority. Prowse's educational background includes a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oakland University.
