About

The current leadership team at the Oakland Museum of California have a wealth of experience in the museum industry. The Executive Director, Dr. Lori Fogarty, previously served as the Executive Director at Bay Area Discovery Museum and Senior Deputy Director at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. She holds a PhD in Education from UC Berkeley. The Senior Deputy Director, Darlene Chiu Bryant, has worked in various leadership roles at museums across the country and has a Master's degree in Museum Studies from George Washington University.
