Darius Smith

Darius Smith is an experienced youth leader currently serving as the Elev8 Youth Leader at Oakland International High School since October 2024. Darius has a strong background in leadership roles, including Co-President of the African-American and African Studies Club at the University of California, Davis, and as a fellow with #CaliforniansForAll College Corps. Previous positions include mentoring as a Global Ambassador Mentor and working in various food service roles. Darius has also contributed to organizations such as Snap Inc. as a Snap Global Fellow and Little's Daycare as a Childcare Assistant. Darius holds a Bachelor of Arts in African American and African Studies from the University of California, Davis, earned in June 2024, and graduated with a High School Diploma from Mt. Eden High School in June 2020.
