Justin Hinojoza

Justin Hinojoza is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in education, game design, and mental health counseling. Currently serving as a Program Manager at Oakland Unified School District since November 2023, Hinojoza previously co-founded and held the position of COO at Hoax, a game design and immersive experience studio, since January 2014. Notable past roles include ARG Team Lead for Take 3 Presents, overseeing a team for an immersive art installation at Nocturne-X, and coordinating a large substitute teacher pool for Aspire Public Schools. Hinojoza also has experience as a Senior Mental Health Counselor at Seneca Center and as a Debate Coach at James Logan High School. Hinojoza holds a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
