Jonathon Herppich

Jonathon Herppich is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at Oakland University, beginning in September 2024. Previously, Jonathon served as a Finance Intern for the City of Auburn Hills from September 2023 to August 2024, where responsibilities included creating capital asset footnotes, processing accounts payable invoices, assisting with budget projects, and managing the Year End PO process. In the summer of 2023, Jonathon interned at WTW as a Pension Outsourcing Intern, following a similar role with the same company in 2022, where key tasks involved processing post-retirement deaths and updating beneficiary files. Jonathon also worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader at Oakland University in early 2023, leading study sessions for Managerial Cost Accounting students. Prior experience includes a position as a Production Employee at Home City Ice in 2021. Jonathon is pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting at Oakland University, expected to complete in December 2026, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the same institution.
