Filipa Sousa

Filipa Sousa is a Clinical Implementation Consultant at Varian Medical Systems since September 2024 and serves as a reviewer for the tipsRO Journal and a member of the ESTRO RTT Committee at the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) since September 2023. Filipa has been an invited teacher at Haute Ecole Léonard de Vinci - HE Vinci since April 2023, focusing on RTT research methodology and statistics in radiotherapy. Additionally, Filipa is an active member of the International Community of Practice for Advanced Practice Radiation Therapy and contributes to AFITER.be. With previous roles including a position on the BeSTRO RTT Scientific Committee and as Deputy Head RTT at Institut Jules Bordet, Filipa is dedicated to research and development in radiotherapy, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance treatment protocols. Filipa's educational background includes a Master's degree in Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology from Inholland University of Applied Sciences and a Licenciatura in Radiotherapy from Escola Superior de Saúde-IPP.
