Amal al-Ali

Amal Al-Ali has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Amal currently holds the position of Director of Alumni Relations Office at the University of Sharjah, where they also serve as an Assistant Professor. In this role, they have contributed to policy development, innovation, and securing funding for various projects.

Prior to their current position, Amal was the Founding Director of the International Creative Industries Club. Amal has also served as the Managing Director/CEO at Cardiff Management Consultants, where they provided strategic advisory initiatives for top management and acted as a trusted advisor for various government bodies and clients.

Amal's experience includes working as the Director of Government Communications at Sharjah Economic, where they played a key role in developing the strategic plan for the government communications department and introduced communication strategies. Amal has also worked as a Computer Lecturer & Program Manager at Arabian Gulf University and as an Ambassador Office Executive Manager at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - UAE.

Earlier in their career, Amal worked as a Lecturer and Course Coordinator at the Higher Colleges of Technology and as an Internet Help Desk Manager at Etisalat.

Amal Al-Ali has a strong educational background. Amal completed their PhD in Creative Industries from the University of South Wales from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from Cardiff University/Prifysgol Caerdydd, from 1998 to 1999. Amal'sundergraduate studies were done at the United Arab Emirates University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Linguistics from 1991 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Amal Al-Ali also holds a certification as an OpenGenius Applied Innovation Instructor from OpenGenius Limited.
