Marie Taylor Vanbuskirk

Marie Taylor VanBuskirk is an accomplished professional in the field of recreation and well-being, currently serving as the Associate Director of Operations and Marketing at Oakland University since July 2017. In this role, Marie oversees all University Recreation and Well-Being facilities and marketing operations. Previously, Marie held positions at Oakland University, including Assistant Director of Leadership and Engagement and Coordinator of Student Employee Development, where significant achievements include enhancing brand integration in design projects and revamping employee development programs. With earlier experience in facility management and programming at organizations such as the City of Farmington Hills and JRV Management, along with a solid educational background in recreation administration and organizational leadership, Marie brings extensive expertise and leadership to the field.
