Alan Adler is the managing director of the U.S. and global high yield bond portfolio advisor at Oaktree Capital Management. Alan has over fifteen years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on investments and acquisitions. Prior to joining Oaktree, Alan was the founder and principal of Pacific Generation Partners, an acquisition vehicle that focused on lower-middle market companies in the Los Angeles area. Alan also served on the board of Dimension Capital Management, a wealth management firm focused on Latin American clients, and was vice president of Riverstone Holdings. Alan began their career as an analyst in the Global Energy Group at UBS Investment Bank. Alan holds a BA from Columbia University.

Alan Adler attended Loyola High School of Los Angeles before studying Foreign Service at Georgetown University, from which they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Alan then went on to study Entreprenuership & Finance at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
