David Kotar

David Kotar currently serves as the Managing Director and Head of Infrastructure and Operations at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. since August 2025. Prior to this role, David was the Senior Director of Technology Infrastructure and Operations at Crate and Barrel from March 2020 to May 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing the IT Infrastructure and Operations strategy. David also held the position of Director of IT Infrastructure at OCC from September 2015 to March 2020, managing a team focused on Network, Data Center, and End User Enabling Technologies. Earlier in David's career, roles at U.S. Cellular included Senior Manager of Core Network Operations and Manager of Enhanced Services Engineering, where leadership extended over various technical teams and budgets. David holds a Master's Degree in Information Technology from Northwestern University and completed certificates in High-Performance Leadership and Executive Leadership from Cornell University.
