Barna Varhegyi

Barna Varhegyi has had an extensive and diverse work experience in the field of water and wastewater treatment. Barna started their career at Samsung SDI Hungary, where they held various roles including Manager of Utilities and Leader of Technological Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants. Barna then worked at Dinax Kft. as a Chemical Production Factory Leader, overseeing the operation of a factory producing chemicals for water treatment. Barna later joined REMONDIS Aqua as a Sales Manager and Water and Wastewater Technology Consultant. At Procter & Gamble, they served as a Project Engineer and Leader of the E-IMEA Regional Water Integrity Team. Barna also worked at EcoWater Systems Germany GmbH, where they held positions as Country Manager DACH and Sales Manager DACH. Most recently, they have been working at Aquina Wassertechnik GmbH as a General Manager and Sales Director. Starting in 2023, they will take on the role of Vice President Professional Business at OASE. Throughout their career, Barna has gained expertise in various aspects of water treatment, including filtration, ion-exchange, and reverse osmosis.

Barna Varhegyi completed their education in a chronological order. From 1984 to 1992, they attended Virányos, but there is no information available regarding any degree or field of study. From 1992 to 1996, they obtained their high school diploma from Baár-Madas in General Studies. Following this, from 1996 to 2001, they attended Budapest University of Technology and Economics and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering. Lastly, from 2001 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Engineer-Economist at Corvinus University of Budapest.

Barna Varhegyi also holds various additional certifications. In 2007, they obtained the "Train the Trainer (AdA Schein)" certification from SmartInvest HR Kft. In 2006, they received the "Designer of Water and Wastewater Treatment Technologies" certification from the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers. Moreover, in 2006, they achieved the "Six Sigma Master Black Belt" certification, and in 2005, they obtained the "Six Sigma Trainer" certification, both from Samsung SDI Hungary. Additionally, in 2005, they obtained the "Six Sigma Black Belt" certification, and in 2003, they earned the "Six Sigma Green Belt" certification, again from Samsung SDI Hungary.
