Chief Information Officer at Oasis Financial

Mohammed Hanif is the current Chief Information Officer at Oasis Financial. Mohammed has over two decades of experience in spearheading mission critical application/infrastructure design, implementation, and support strategy. Mohammed has been a key strategic partner for functional and product management teams during their tenure at various companies.

Hanif started their career in January 2005 as VP / Senior Director of Technology & Engineering at Grainger. Mohammed was responsible for leading a team of 85 engineers who supported SAP, ecommerce, databases, virtualization, monitoring, voice, Teradata/analytics, automation, open source, batch, Unix/Linux, server, storage, network, and other key infrastructure technologies. During their time at Grainger, they facilitated the design, implementation, and support of a new North American SAP platform which created the capability to integrate a $1 billion Canadian business. Post Go-Live, 24x7 infrastructure support was dissolved in two weeks due to zero infrastructure issues.

Mohammed then worked cross-functionally with product management and development teams to create an Agile development organization to increase throughput and velocity, resulting in increased deployment of code and functionality. Hanif also partnered with Enterprise Architecture to research emerging technologies and develop strategic roadmaps for applications, infrastructure, ecommerce, database, data center, analytics, and public/private Cloud strategy. This led to the development of a new metrics and monitoring strategy that resulted in higher awareness of system performance, capacity, and business partner user experience -

Mohammed Hanif has an Executive MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Mohammed also has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Lastly, they have a degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Grainger.

Mohammed Hanif reports to Jack Lavin, CEO. They work with Griffin Gordon - COO, Robert Gallagher - CFO, and Phil Greenberg - General Counsel.
