Matthew Shipman

Matthew Shipman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Matthew currently serves as the President of Oasis Marinas since March 2022 and previously worked as the Chief of Staff from November 2021 to March 2022. Prior to joining Oasis Marinas, Matthew was the Head of Operations at Finch from December 2020 to November 2021. Matthew also has experience working at McKinsey & Company as an Associate - Implementation, where they provided support to clients in strategy development and execution from July 2018 to the present. Matthew's earlier career includes an internship as a Senior Management Associate at Bridgewater Associates in 2017 and serving as a Naval Special Warfare Officer (SEAL) in the United States Navy from May 2007 to September 2016. Overall, Matthew's work experience showcases their expertise in operations, consulting, leadership, and military service.

Matthew Shipman completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from MIT Sloan School of Management between the years 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems and Supply Chain, with minors in Middle Eastern Studies and Military Studies, from Penn State University, graduating between the years 2003 and 2007.
