Martin Wheatley

Martin Wheatley currently serves as Chairman at both Jigsaw XYZ and Starling Trust Sciences since June 2017, and holds roles as Senior Advisor at Oasis Management Company Ltd. and Advisor at the Financial Conduct Authority. Previously, Martin Wheatley was Chief Executive of the Financial Conduct Authority and the Financial Services Authority, and Chief Executive at the Securities and Futures Commission from 2005 to 2012. Early career highlights include a progressive tenure at the London Stock Exchange from 1985 to 2004, culminating as Deputy Chief Executive. Martin Wheatley began professional life at the UK National Audit Office from 1981 to 1985. Educational qualifications include a BA Honours in English and Philosophy from the University of York, an MBA from Cass Business School, and membership in the Chartered Institute of Public Finance Accountants.
