Schwanz

John Schwanz has extensive experience in the marine operations, specialized engineering, facilities management, and defense business development sectors. Schwanz, has held executive positions at Oasis Systems, LLC and MAR, A Division of Oasis Systems, serving as Vice President for Marine Operations and Specialized Engineering, as well as Vice President for Facilities Management and Marine Services. Prior to this, they worked at Oceaneering International as a Program Manager and Manager for Strategic Planning, overseeing the design and construction of undersea structures and vehicles. Schwanz, also played a leadership role in business unit strategy development and new business capture efforts. Before joining Oceaneering, John worked at Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems as the Manager for Special Defense Business Development. Schwanz, began their career in the US Navy, where they served as Commodore for Submarine Squadron 11.

John Schwanz attended the United States Naval Academy from 1973 to 1977, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Schwanz, later pursued their education at the U.S. Naval War College from 1995 to 1996, earning a Master of Arts degree in National Security Studies.
