Ashley N.P. Allen

Chief Sustainability Officer at Oatly

Ashley N.P. Allen is currently the Chief Sustainability Officer at Oatly. Prior to this, they worked as the Climate and Land Senior Manager at Mars from June 2017 to July 2020. Before that, Ashley worked as the Deputy Associate Director of Public Engagement at the White House Council on Environmental Quality from July 2013 to January 2014, where they developed and implemented public outreach strategy for President Obama's Climate Action Plan. Ashley has also worked as the Acting Division Chief, Climate Change Specialist and Climate Change Foreign Affairs Officer at USAID and the U.S. Department of State, respectively. Throughout their career, Ashley has been dedicated to climate change awareness and mitigation, working tirelessly to raise awareness and build consensus on U.S. climate action.

Ashley N.P. Allen received their Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Environmental Science from Indiana University Bloomington and their Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

They are on a team with Jennifer Newman - VP, Commercial Strategy, Leah Hoxie - SVP, Innovation Strategy, and Mary Hearst - VP, E-Commerce. Ashley N.P. Allen reports to Toni Petersson, CEO.
