Kyaw Thu Htet

KYAW Thu Htet is the Founder and CEO of Myanmar Innovative Life Sciences (MILS), an impact-driven organization dedicated to fostering sustainable food systems and improving the capabilities of food producers. In addition to leading MILS since November 2012, KYAW Thu Htet serves as a Facilitator for the Obama Foundation's Climate Community of Practice, and as Founder and Director of the Center for Sustainable Agri-food Initiatives Development, which aims to align Myanmar’s agri-food sectors with global standards. KYAW Thu Htet holds the position of Chair of the Executive Board for the Scaling Up Nutrition Business Network Myanmar, and is a member of the Strategic Advisory Group for the Nutrition Humanitarian Development Nexus under UN-Nutrition. Recently, KYAW Thu Htet participated as a Fellow at The Aspen Institute. Educational background includes studies at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Institute of Management, and Technological University Hmawbi.
