Karen Reynolds is an experienced professional in community engagement and education, currently serving as the Experiential Learning Programs Coordinator at Oberlin College since July 2019. Prior roles include Office Coordinator at Oberlin Community Services and Graduate Internships at Neighborhood Connections and Youth Opportunities Unlimited, focusing on community network building and youth entrepreneurship education, respectively. Earlier experience includes a Research Assistant position with the National Initiative on Mixed-Income Communities, where data collection and analysis for youth programming surveys were key responsibilities. Karen also held previous roles as an AmeriCorps College Guide and various teaching and research assistant positions throughout academic training, including at Berea College and Vanderbilt University. Karen holds a Master’s Degree in Community Practice for Social Change from the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at CWRU and a Bachelor's Degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Berea College.
