Mag. Othmar Nagl

Mag. Othmar Nagl has extensive work experience in various roles within the insurance industry. Mag. Othmar is currently serving as the Generaldirektor of Oberösterreichische Versicherung AG since January 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Generaldirektor-Stellvertreter from October 2016 to December 2020. From August 2008 to October 2016, they were a Mitglied des Vorstandes at the same company. Mag. Othmar Nagl also has experience as Bereichsdirektor Berichtswesen, Rechnungswesen, Controlling from October 2005 to October 2008, and as Leiter Rechnungswesen from October 1998 to October 2005, also at Oberösterreichische Versicherung AG. Apart from their experience in the insurance industry, they have served as a Mitglied des Verwaltungsrates at Deutsche Rückversicherung Schweiz AG since 2019, Mitglied des Aufsichtsrates at ELAG Immobilien AG since 2017, Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrates at HYPO Oberösterreich since 2015, Vorstandsmitglied at Kuratorium für Verkehrssicherheit since 2011, Vorstandsmitglied at BVS - Brandverhütungsstelle für Oö. since 2009, and Mitglied des Aufsichtsrates at Kepler-Fonds KAG since 2008. Mag. Othmar started their professional journey as a Wirtschaftsprüfer at KPMG Austria from 1995 to 1998.

Mag. Othmar Nagl attended Handelsakademie Vöcklabruck from 1983 to 1988, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during this time. Subsequently, from 1989 to 1994, Mag. Othmar Nagl pursued their studies at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and earned a degree in Handelswissenschaft, specifically a Mag.rer.soc.oec.
