Jessica Hägglund

Jessica Hägglund is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and project leadership within the fields of biology and therapeutic development. Currently serving as a Project Leader at Oblique Therapeutics since April 2016, Jessica has focused on the development of biologics, particularly therapeutic antibodies. Prior experience includes roles as a Desk Officer at the Swedish Ministry of Education and Research, where Jessica contributed to Open Science initiatives and biobank research, and multiple postdoctoral fellowships at prestigious institutions including Stanford University, Yale School of Medicine, and Karolinska Institutet, where in-depth studies on WNT/planar cell polarity and cancer medication effects were conducted. Early career achievements at Chalmers University of Technology involved significant contributions to microfluidics, single-cell analysis, and the commercialization of innovative systems for drug screening at Cellectricon. Jessica holds a Master of Science in Engineering Physics and a PhD in Chemistry, both from Chalmers University of Technology.
