Philipp Unterbrunner

Philip Unterbrunner is a software engineer who is currently the co-founder and director of European operations at Observe. Philip has also worked for Facebook, Snowflake Computing, Oracle, Microsoft, and ETH Zurich. Philip began their career as an intern at EADS in 2004 and has since gained experience in various aspects of software engineering. In their current role at Observe, they are responsible for overseeing the company's European operations and ensuring that they run smoothly.

Philip Unterbrunner received their Dipl.-Ing (FH) in Software Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. Philip then went on to earn their Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Science from Cornell University. Finally, they received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from ETH Zürich.

They are on a team with Jacob Leverich - Co-Founder & VP, Engineering, Joao Taveria Araujo - Founding Engineer, and Alex Burkardt - VP, Data Engineering. Their manager is Jeremy Burton, CEO.
