David Cote

David Cote is an accomplished copywriter and librettist with extensive experience in the arts and nonprofit sectors. Currently, at The Harrington Agency since July 2020, David crafts engaging copy for nonprofit organizations, effectively telling their stories. As a freelance theater critic for multiple publications including Observer Media and 4 Columns, David reviews performances and profiles theater artists. David has also contributed libretti for various operas with American Opera Projects and Cincinnati Opera. Previously, as Content Coordinator for Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, David provided brand message support across multiple platforms. With a Bachelor's degree in Theater and Literature from Bard College, David has a rich background in theater editing and writing, most notably served as the Theater & Dance Editor at Time Out New York for nearly two decades.
